Wheadon Creative is a Hamilton based business that offers professional UX (User Experience) / interface design, educational resources, Maori design and print design services. Owner-operator David Wheadon has lead design experience of multimillion-dollar projects software projects in Australia, the UK, and New Zealand.
User Experience Design includes defining a person’s journeys through the site, how he or she uses the site’s functions and how the pages are structured to help a person achieve their goals. Good user interface design is all about user-centred design.
I have the expertise to produce creative interfaces from rapid prototyping through to finished coded content. Whether it’s a ground up build or enhancing an existing product I have the experience and expertise to manufacture the interface you need.
I have created learning and teaching materials for major players in the New Zealand tertiary sector. With a background in software usability the transition to usable educational resources was a natural progression. If you need course material in all media (app, software, print), I have the experience to create both an engaging and intuitive product.
I am passionate about Māori design with experience creating unique designs for large corporates. I are not set on any particular style or region of design and are happy to create new work based on historical concepts and designs, or generate something more contemporary.
